Hey all!! Here's a new dark, orchestral, action piece I called "Approaching the Storm"!
I wanted to tell a story with this one, and I was imagining a scene as I was composing it. Let me know what comes to your mind when listening to this ;)
What I like about composing action is that I can throw in whatever crazy idea I got in my head, and it'll (usually) make sense and add to the chaos!
So I had a LOT of fun composing this, hope you like it!! :D

🎶 Bio:
Bara Matahari Pagi is a 15-year-old (at the time of posting) composer for film, TV, and games. He began his journey into film scoring at the age of 12 and quickly discovered a deep passion for it.
Bara has scored several short films, and has composed additional music for his first feature film in 2024 at the age of 15, making him one of the youngest composers to receive an additional music credit. He's currently working on more feature films as an additional composer. Bara has also collaborated with notable companies in the music industry such as Spitfire Audio, Cinesamples, Vienna Symphonic Library, etc. to create demo tracks for their sample libraries. As well as working with the Spanish theme park, Isla Mágica, to write music for teaser trailers.
His music has gained recognition in some composing and film scoring competitions, where he was chosen as one of the finalists and runner-ups.
In October 2022, Bara was invited to share his story during an inspiration session for Netflix's Youth Mentoring Connection program. And in December 2024, he had the opportunity to speak at TEDxSurabaya about his passion for film music.
He was also featured in the documentary Embers of Surabaya, Echoes in Hollywood, alongside Bleeding Fingers Music composer Laurentia Editha. The film was screened at the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya, where Bara, Laurentia, and the production team were interviewed about their work and experiences.
Recently, Bara released a compilation album consisting of previously released tracks called Chapter One.
