Since then, his family says the only time they have seen him is in the last known video recorded before he vanished.

Now, Jerry Boshoga’s disappearance has become a major point of focus at the Madlanga Commission and an ad-hoc committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration into South Africa’s justice system.

Several witnesses connected to the case have been questioned — including businessman Cat Matlala.

South Africa’s National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola, has also addressed the ongoing investigation into Jerry’s disappearance.

Senior SAPS official Shadrack Sibiya was recently questioned at the Commission regarding the missing persons case.

There are allegations that Sibiya has close ties to Cat Matlala, who has been linked to claims surrounding Jerry Boshoga’s disappearance. Police reportedly searched Matlala’s residence as part of their investigation after similarities were noted between a curtain seen in Jerry’s last known video and curtains found at Matlala’s home.

Jerry Boshoga and Cat Matlala were known to be close associates, with their families reportedly having strong personal ties.

More than a year later, the question still remains:
