Mission “Ultimatum” is one of the most intense operations in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In this mission, Captain Price and the SAS team parachute into the Altay Mountains, Russia to locate and rescue SSgt. Griggs, who has been captured by ultranationalist forces.
After tracking his emergency signal, the team clears multiple buildings in a nearby village and successfully rescues him. The next objective is to destroy a power transmission tower using C4 explosives to disable the power grid. This allows allied forces to infiltrate the ICBM launch facility controlled by Zakhaev's forces.
However, the situation becomes critical when missiles are launched, putting millions of lives at risk. The mission is filled with intense firefights, tactical teamwork, and high-stakes objectives.
