Surface carp fishing is brilliant fun, but can also be incredibly frustrating as the fish shy away from the hookbait time and time again. Using the right floater feed bait can not only help to disguise your surface fishing rig, but also increase the feeding response you get from the carp, and all this is really easy to achieve and has some other key benefits too.
In this video I take a look at the feed I have been using for several years for carp. The combination of small floating pellets with a cloudy liquid and some fine particles creates a cloud in the water that effective disguises the carp rig.
In addition, because the mix is quite sticky, it can be made into small balls and fired out with a catapult, creating much less disturbance than spodding out small pellets.
