Today we will experience “Holy of Holies” Worship and Love of the Lord! Did you know that beginning 50 days after their deliverance from slavery in Egypt, God gave the Israelites an amazing prototype, an earthly type or picture, of worship as it is in Heaven. That’s right! He gave us a “Pattern” of how sinful man can come into the presence of Holy God Who made heaven and earth!

In Exodus chapter 25 God told Moses how to build The Ark of the Testimony, Table of Showbread, and Golden Lampstand (Menorah). In Exodus 26 we see the Tabernacle where God dwelt with the Israelite. And in Exodus 27 we see the Altar of Burnt Offering (v1-8) and the Court (v9-19) where the priests would offer sacrifices.

All of this is a picture of our approach to God—a pattern of worship, explaining how we are to come into His presence, to love Him the way He desires us to, and to worship Him in spirit and truth, the way He made us to.
