The remains of 123 Hezbollah guerrilla fighters killed over the last few years by Israeli forces were buried in Lebanon on Tuesday (23/7) in a "wedding of the martyrs." Thousands of supporters of Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Islamic guerrilla group, mourned the men at funerals in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of the capital, Beirut. The bodies - of fighters killed in clashes over the past 10 years - along with 45 Lebanese prisoners were handed over by Israel on Sunday (21/7) in exchange for 17 members of Israel's proxy militia, the South Lebanon Army, and the remains of two Israeli soldiers.
