I’m unboxing a fresh batch of UniFi gear to start modernizing our backbone and prepping for future expansions—including streaming, gaming, family devices, and our massive Plex/media server ecosystem.

Here’s what we’re opening up:
• UniFi UXG Fiber — a powerful gateway with fiber support for high-speed WAN setups
• Cloud Key Gen 2 — centralized management for all UniFi devices
• UniFi Flex Mini 2.5 (x2) — compact, fast 2.5GbE switching for workstations + studio
• UniFi U7 In-Wall — upgraded access point to boost WiFi coverage room-to-room

This is just the first phase of the full upgrade. More switches, APs, and rack gear are coming soon as we build out a stable, future-proof network that can handle 4K recording, dual-PC streaming, uploads, and the whole family’s devices.
