Grâce à un laser haute puissance installé au sommet du Säntis (CH), un consortium européen dirigé par l’Université de Genève, l’École polytechnique (Paris), l’EPFL et TRUMPF est parvenu à guider la foudre ⚡. Cette première ouvre la voie au développement de paratonnerres plus performants.

A European consortium led by the University of Geneva, École Polytechnique (Paris), EPFL and TRUMPF has managed to guide lightning ⚡ using a high-power laser installed at the top of Mount Säntis in Switzerland.
