Brandon Jennings has been a pass-first, pass-second, and pass-third PG for the Wizards since getting signed by them. 5 assists in 14 minutes per game is pretty sick. Sick in the opposite way is his shooting percentages during the same stretch, which are so awful that I’m not even gonna type them here. You have to go look up that sick filth for yourself.
Which brings us to my next point: the sick filth that was his handles this game. He had his best game with the Wiz, but that isn’t even the point. Watching this is like watching one of those AND-1 VHS tapes from before YouTube was popular. Seriously. We don’t usually see overtly flashy moves like what he was doing. Moves that do little to get the ball closer to scoring but instead excite the crowd and annoy the opponent. You young people have a term for it: “swag”. That’s what Jennings had tonight, and it lead to 18 points and 9 dimes.
