the #upperclass were a garage pop rock group from Dallas Texas
Members of the group were
Neal St John - drummer
John Broberg - bassist
Randy Shelton
They were assigned by Major Bill Smith to record a single on Charay Records (owned by Bill) and the band would have input from David Norfleet who was the lead guitarist of another Dallas group The Chants
The A side of the single “Help Me Find A Way” had the potential to be a hit as the 45 was re-released by #smash records but it didn’t chart in any market
The group would record another single for Limetree Records which had an acid hard rock style to it however the release date is unknown
After that John and Neal would play in a group called Quest in 1969 along with The Chants lead vocalist Darrel Howard
David Norfleet died on July 4th 2008 and it is unknown about the other members
