The 1st episode was Midnight Raagas and our finale of the night was a Sarode recital by Shri Kaushik Mukherjee, accompanied by Shri Chiranjit Mukherjee on the Tabla.
Born as a child prodigy, Kaushik Mukherjee is one of leading Sarode virtuoso of the Senia Maihar gharana. From a tender age he has been under the affectionate guidance of his Guru Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumder. He has been highly appreciated performing numerous concerts all across the country. He is also a Sarode Tutor at Bengal Parampara Sangeetalaya, Dhaka.
Chiranjit Mukherjee is one of the leading tabla exponents of his generation. Nurtured under the guidance of his Guru Legendary Pandit Kumar Bose, Chiranjit represents the Benaras Baaj and has received huge appreciations performing all across the globe.
