Why YOUR images MATTER!

Описание: I think wildlife photography motivation, introspection and self-discovery are vital for creating great images. In fact they are much more important than what camera gear you have. At least, that seems to be true for me.

So this week I'm diving into the motives driving my photography over the last few months and it's no coincidence that with the arrival of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere my thoughts have turned to loss and nostalgia.

Watching the summer grasslands drying and dying. The animals changing behaviour and the migrant birds leaving, makes me consider the ends of things and how the world changes irrevocably.

It feels, to me, like these moods are important to recognise and to incorporate when I'm out with the camera and in this video, I try to understand how they drive my images and how I feel about the world I see through my lens.


But beyond that, the documentation of wildlife is important in raising awareness why wildlife conservation is important.
