The West Indian Day Parade and Carnival began in Harlem back in the 1920s. Around 3 million people celebrate Labor Day West Indian Carnival Parade in Brooklyn, NY each year, making the West Indian Day Parade one of the biggest festivals in the world.

The National West Indian Day Parade and Carnival features singers, dancers, and musicians wearing extravagant costumes and feathered headpieces. As you're enjoying the

Powdered paint can get thrown around, while steel drums and whistles keep the party going all day long.
