We hiked 1.5km each way, dodging placid but deadly Australian snakes in order to catch fish against the most spectacular sunset. This video really showcases the beautiful Australian wildlife and environment that I am so so lucky and fortunate to live in.
The Eastern Brown Snake is the second most dangerously venomous snake in the world. The Red Bellied Black Snake is also highly venomous, but not even close to the toxicity of the Eastern Brown Snake. In both cases, as you can see in this video, neither of them were in a hurry to bother us. They were happy to just soak up the glorious autumn sunshine, just as we were.
