Sydney... It's packed, stressful, expensive, busy, polluted and really not our style. It's time to move away, (well, maybe in a couple of years) to a much nicer place known as Tasmania. To be more specific Sandy Bay near Hobart is the area we are looking at. Such a peaceful area near the much less busy CBD of Hobart.
Overall Hobart/Tasmania is much cheaper than Sydney/NSW however Sandy Bay in particular is one of the most expensive areas behind Battery Point. Still, much cheaper than Sydney though. A 1 bedroom unit in Brookvale (which I am currently paying off) costs more than double the price of a 3 bedroom house right near Hobart (just to give you some perspective).
In this video you get to see us drive to the airport, leave Sydney, land in Hobart and check out a range of properties for sale between 700K to 1.6 Million. All of these properties are cheaper than where we live now and you get sooooo much morrrreee!!!!
