Concerns about LPG cylinder availability are rising among consumers amid global tensions and viral social media posts claiming shortages. Many people fear that cooking gas supply may be affected, while some restaurants and small eateries have reportedly shifted to alternative cooking methods.

However, the Government of India has clarified that domestic LPG supply in the country is completely safe and stable. Authorities have urged citizens not to panic or rush for unnecessary bookings. To maintain proper distribution, the LPG booking gap has been increased from 21 days to 25 days, while for rural consumers it has been extended to 45 days.

Meanwhile, complaints have emerged from several areas that some gas dealers are delaying cylinder delivery or charging extra fees. If customers face such issues, they can directly contact the helpline numbers of LPG companies and register a complaint.
