Trail access in this area is supported by volunteer stewardship. Thanks to the Skagit Alpine Club and other partners who help maintain the Park Butte Lookout and trails throughout the Mount Baker Wilderness Area, and to the Forest Fire Lookout Association for their ongoing work preserving and staffing historic fire lookouts like Park Butte.
