WD My Cloud CLICK QUICK TRICK FITS AND FIX!!!

I had been having troubles accessing the content on my WD My Cloud for a few years. The light would never turn blue, the device wasn't accessible from the operating system, and the browser interface was stuck on initializing.

I had the worse time finding a solution until trying to reload the browser where it appeared stuck in initializing and/or stuck with USB error. When I selected reload I tried clicking on options in the background quick as it was reloading. I realized doing this that I was able to click on things that were otherwise inaccessible with the initializing screen in the way.

Eventually I tried reloading and clicking on a firmware update. This appeared to begin working so I started recording what appeared to be a potential resolution! The first time it didn't work but I did get a blue light so I tried again. The second time it worked! I was able to install a firmware update and access all my content!
