Our ABC10 Originals team went down to the border where a COVID-19 related travel restriction has made it harder for refugees to get into the U.S. since 2020. Asylum seekers from war-torn countries around the world wait in limbo in cities like Tijuana, Mexico, but UC Davis Professor and Immigration Attorney Raquel Aldana said Ukrainians and Russians are being exempt from the travel restriction.
