If you do your swelling tests and the onsets are unclean, Bromelain to the rescue! Bromelain is a natural anti-inflammatory made from pineapple extract which, when taken on an empty stomach, can take the swelling down on the edges of the vocal folds! Do not take if allergic to pineapple!!!
