Описание: When children affected with cerebral palsy come at an early age, we aim to achieve neck holding and trunk balance as soon as possible because if neck holding in cerebral palsy-affected children does not mature at the age of 2 years, then there is a remote possibility of standing and walking independently. Development milestones are also matured in a cephalocaudal pattern, so neck holding is mature before achieving other milestones.

Dr. Varidmala Jain, MBBS & MD (Community Medicine), PhD (Public Health), is the Secretary of the Trishla Foundation. She has 15 years of experience counseling and guiding parents of children with Cerebral Palsy and has 23 research publications in state and national journals. She has also been the ex-program coordinator of the MPH program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, SHIATS, for 13 years.
