In Jeremiah 1 we meet Jeremiah, a priest from Anathoth near Jerusalem. The Lord calls him to be a prophet, but he resists because of his age. He is about twenty years of age. The Lord overrules his objection and requires his service. The Lord then tests his ability to see and know the Lord's voice and he passes both tests. This video discusses prophecy both at the time and today.
