We’re exploring Whitby on our Yorkshire coast motorhome trip — and this day takes a turn we absolutely didn’t see coming. From family chaos on the road to a surprising moment after dark, this episode was one of our favourites to film. 😳🏖️
Today we leave Robin Hood’s Bay and head into Whitby, wandering through the bustling town centre, watching boats in the harbour, dodging seagulls and trying (and failing) to keep four kids moving in the same direction. We show the famous 199 Steps, soak up the views from the clifftops and spend the day exploring one of Yorkshire’s most iconic seaside towns.
But Whitby after dark is something else entirely.
The mood shifts, the atmosphere changes, and the whole night leaves us more on edge — and more excited — than we expected. The kids loved every minute.
