TLDR: Add volume slowly over time after you got everything you can out of the volume you were doing. Dont add sets unnecessarily.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
The easiest advice i can give when it comes to volume is to start low, get as much as you can out of that low volume, and only increase volume when you have seen your results stalling for a while and everything else is on point. For those who are confused, volume is simply how much you do in the gym, and you can calculate volume different ways, but the easiest way is the number of hard sets per week per muscle group. If you are doing 3 sets of pull ups twice a week, thats 6 sets on "back" or "lats". If you find that your rep numbers are stalling and not improving and its not due to any other major holes (low sleep, bad nutrition, etc) and you've been at this volume for a while, simply adding 1 set to one day may be enough to push past that plataeu.
