The Diocese of Lafayette invites the legal community and the public to the Annual Red Mass, a tradition of praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance upon judges, attorneys, public officials, and all who serve in civil and Church courts.
We are honored to welcome Father Pius Pietrzyk, O.P., a Dominican priest, canon lawyer, and Vicar for Administration of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph, as our guest homilist. Father Pius has taught in Rome, Washington, DC, and California, serves as a judge on the tribunal for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, and is Vice-Chairman of the Legal Services Corporation Board.
Join us in praying for wisdom and justice for all who work in the legal profession. All are welcome.
