I wrote Enemy lines at 3:30 in about 30 minutes, beatboxing the beat, basically freestyling the vocals, sampling my own voice, and releasing all I was going through with my eyes closed. I love this song, I love it when I write songs that resemble and express exactly what I'm going through, it helps a lot, provides clarity, and reminds me of who I am. Somehow when releasing my self thought/made identity and expressing all that I am feeling in that moment, I hear the cries of my true self, and that is not only assuring, but I believe, for every artist, absolutely magnificent. Beautiful. Majestic.
