I was playing a King Salmon on the right side of the boat. Wife was reeling in the manual downrigger on the left and her back was turned away from the leftmost downrigger while a King Salmon was biting and then releasing from the downrigger. Sometimes they continue to process or chew on the lure even if its metal and then they move sideways. I guess both kings were 15-17 pounds because we release many salmon. I once thought a fish was 13 pounds but weighed 19 pounds so I was way off on that one.
My wife set the hook and I thought the fish was already hooked well but I wanted some humor so I told her to hit it again so got her two have grunts out of that.
