This video will teach you how to create epic, dark, b-roll sequences using a smartphone, a black background (you can use a t-shirt), a tripod and a flashlight. We'll be making product b-roll to showcase a stethoscope.
This video can be broken down into two steps:
1. Filming - We need to film before we can edit the project. We do so by setting our camera on a tripod, turning the exposure down and hovering our flashlight backwards and forwards over the subject.
2. Editing - We'll learn how to edit the clips we filmed and turn our footage into a work of art. Although this course demonstrates how to do so using Final Cut Pro, the same principles apply to whatever software you use.
