We have achieved greater success with an early prototype of the multiplayer mode in Triad Wars. It was never in the game before. It is a completely custom solution. There are no special animations yet, but players are already synchronized with each other, and the most important part is ready. Next comes the most difficult part: synchronization, animations, and much more.
Two players can connect simultaneously and see each other in real time: move, explore the world, and be in the same space.
This is an attempt to revive a project that many considered lost. It's a small step toward the very online format in the Sleeping Dogs universe that fans once dreamed of.
The video shows the current state of the project and the first steps towards restoring multiplayer.
