This video reviews my history with tool posts on the Shoptask 1720 XMTC Lathe Mill Combo, and I re-drill the hole for the locating pin for the Multifix Size A tool post somewhat better.
The tool post is a size A from PeweTools - not sponsored.
The Shoptask QCTP block appears to be from the same casting as the standard toolpost, just cut down, and I shaved a little off the top to 70.4mm high. If you don't have one you could sacrifice your original toolpost block to adapt it to the Multifix.
The post is 12L14 with the bottom machined to match the original t-bolt and the diameters machined to a close slip fit on the bore diameters of the block and the tool post, with a 1/2" x 13tpi thread at the top.
