Traffic Collison Over Side Freeway, One Hospitalized
Redlands FD was dispatched to a traffic collision requiring extrication at the Wabash exit of Eastbound 10 at 1:35 pm. Upon arriving, they found a single vehicle over the side of the freeway with a male occupant trapped. The vehicle drove through a fence post and down into a deep, partially flooded ditch.
After making access, firefighters rescued the individual from the vehicle and hoisted him back to the side of the freeway, where he was transported in an unknown condition by AMR.
CHP reports two other vehicles involved, a white jeep and a semi-truck; however, the vehicles were moved off the freeway before Redlands FD arrived.
