সদাপ্রভু আমার পালক,
আমার অভাব হইবে না।
তিনি তৃণভূষিত চরাণীতে আমাকে শয়ন করান,
তিনি বিশ্রাম-জলের ধারে ধারে আমাকে চালান।
তিনি আমার প্রাণ ফিরাইয়া আনেন,
তিনি নিজ নামের জন্য আমাকে ধর্মপথে গমন করান।
যখন আমি মৃত্যুচ্ছায়ার উপত্যকা দিয়া গমন করিব,
তখনও অমঙ্গলের ভয় করিব না,
কেননা তুমি আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আছ;
তোমার পাঁচনী ও তোমার যষ্টি আমাকে সান্ত্বনা করে।
তুমি আমার শত্রুগণের সাক্ষাতে
আমার সম্মুখে মেজ সাজাইয়া থাক;
তুমি আমার মস্তক তৈলে সিক্ত করিয়াছ,
আমার পানপাত্র উথলিয়া পড়িতেছে।
কেবল মঙ্গল ও দয়াই
আমার জীবনের সমুদয় দিন আমার অনুচর হইবে,
আর আমি সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে
চিরদিন বসতি করিব।
