This powerful story of courage and divinity celebrates the victory of good over evil, brought to life through breathtaking dance forms like Classical and Karnataka’s traditional Yakshagana.

Synopsis
Born from the union of Rambha and the she-buffalo Mahishi, the demon Mahishasura rises to power, wreaking havoc and driving the gods out of heaven. Seeking a savior, the gods approach Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, who create the fierce and radiant Goddess Chamundeshwari from their collective divine energies. Armed with celestial weapons, the Goddess confronts Mahishasura in an epic nine-day battle, defeating him in his various forms—a buffalo, an elephant, a lion, and more—restoring peace to the heavens.

Through a vibrant blend of music, Classical dance, and Yakshagana, this production celebrates the divine feminine power and showcases the eternal battle of righteousness.
