We pushed winter camping to the limit at -21°C in the frozen forest of Pinery Provincial Park. With deep snow, icy winds, and a frozen creek nearby, this was one of our coldest overnight adventures yet.
Could our SUV + canvas hot tent setup actually keep us warm in extreme Canadian winter conditions?
In this video:
Setting up camp in brutal cold
Hot tent performance at -21°C
Staying warm overnight in a frozen forest
Winter camping gear that actually works
Cozy campfire vibes in extreme weather
The forest was completely silent, covered in snow, and the frozen creek added to the raw wilderness feeling. But once the stove was going inside the tent… everything changed.
Extreme cold outside. Warm glow inside. ❄️🔥
If you love winter camping, hot tents, overlanding, SUV camping, or survival-style adventures — this one is for you.
