NHTSA Officially Escalates GM 6.2L L87 Investigation - HUGE UPDATE for 2019-2024 models

Описание: A new document was posted to the NHTSA investigation page on March 10, 2026 related to the GM 6.2L L87 engine.

In this video we walk through the official NHTSA information request letter from top to bottom and explain what it means for owners of trucks and SUVs equipped with the L87 V8.

According to the document, NHTSA has received 225 reports of L87 engine failure in vehicles not included in the recall population.

The investigation (Engineering Analysis EA25-007) includes certain 2019-2021 and 2024 model year vehicles equipped with the 6.2L engine.
