M.J. Stevens, a 70 year old retiree with a bad back, is the product of a life spent mainly in the suburbs of Southern California. Snooze Alarm is his one-man band focusing on cover versions of Classic Rock hits of the 60’s and 70’s filtered through a veil of noise, improvisation, and mistakes. His set on Dec. 19th will consist of obscured versions of songs recently heard as supermarket background music.
Burn All Books is a risograph publisher, distro, and studio in San Diego, California. Focused on community and collaboration, we work with San Diego and Tijuana, MX based artists, writers and creators to produce zines, artists’ books, alternative comics, and art prints.
