Canadian psych-pop auteur Yves Jarvis crafts music that pays homage to the golden oldies while simultaneously pushing boundaries with his splendorous sonic mutations. When it comes to influences, Jarvis is an omnivore, feasting on a balanced diet of everything from Serge Gainsbourg to Judee Sill, Sheryl Crow to Captain Beefheart, Ray Charles to Brian Eno, and so much more. On his 2025 release 'All Cylinders', Jarvis expresses both brazen songcraft and pure musicianship. Much of 'All Cylinders' was recorded on bare-bones Audacity, sans plugins, channeling the spirit of Paul McCartney’s 'II'. Playing tracks from the album, Jarvis' Audiotree Live performance embraces the simple pleasures of late-’60s psych-folk, sundazed early-’70s soul, and lo-fi ’80s funk while leaving room to celebrate a sound that is uniquely his own.
