In 2018 Gavin Marwick (commissioned by Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival) wrote for a collaboration between his Journeyman project and the Scottish Ensemble. Forty minutes of new music reflecting Galloway, aspects of its landscape, people and culture. Many thanks to all involved in making this concert happen, including the audience - you were all well worthy of the standing ovation it received. It'd be great to take this show beyond this first performance and develop it further.
