From parenting a special needs child to caring for an aging parent to battling a lifetime of depression to so much more. Do you feel troubled and uncertain about what is being asked of you? As you fall to your knees, pleading for help to do one more day, do you wonder if God is really favoring you in these blessings? Do you worry about the capacity needed for the callings ahead? The scriptures don’t give a clear picture of what specific worries and questions weighed on Mary’s new-mother heart. But whatever her wrestle may have been, we know she did come to accept the calling: “Be it unto me according to thy word” (Luke 1:38).
