This is a quick video providing some footage of the Ingersoll Rand 114GQC air hammer on a ball joint replacement job. I'm going to post a link to this review at Amazon so others who may be looking at this tool might be able to evaluate its performance for their specific needs. This air hammer does seem a bit weak, but at $45 I'm sure it will meet the needs of most DIY guys like myself. I'm sure they just tried to keep the air consumption down so a person does not need a 60-gallon compressor to run this tool. It did not perform as well cutting the small ball joint bolts, but I had already used the chisel for the rivets and it may have lost its edge. This entry-level air tool will pay for itself in just one job, and save you a lot of frustration along the way. If you are a full time mechanic, you may want to consider a more powerful unit.
