Day 2 at Romaniacs 23 - Conquering the Terrain
Today's ride was an exhilarating journey covering a total of 118km, filled with challenging uphill and downhill sections. My riding clocked in at 5 hours, 42 minutes, and 6 seconds, earning me the 82nd place out of 278 skilled riders.
The race presented its fair share of thrills, notably when I faced a nerve-wracking moment - losing both brakes during a long downhill stretch. This was an unprecedented experience for me and added an extra layer of intensity to the race. Approximately 30 minutes later, I encountered an opportunity to assist a fellow rider, Viljar Raidmets #483, who had stopped to aid Mario Roman. Choosing to help cost us about 10 precious minutes, but the camaraderie and support were absolutely worth it. Afterward, I managed to capture some captivating footage while following Viljar.
Anyway it felt as a long day and got lot of footage so enjoy.
