Описание: গাইবান্ধায় ঢোলের তালে আর তন্ত্র মন্ত্রের মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী পাতা খেলা। গ্রাম বাংলার চমৎকার এই খেলা দেখতে উপচে পড়া ভিড় ছিলো দর্শকদের। হারিয়ে যাওয়া এ খেলা নিয়মিত আয়োজনের অনুরোধ করেছেন তারা। আয়োজকরা আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন ধারাবাহিকতা ধরে রাখার।

সদর উপজেলার রামচন্দ্রপুর ইউনিয়নের ভাটপাড়া ঠাকুরবাড়ি গ্রাম। এ গ্রামেই অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী পাতা খেলা। এসময় পুরো এলাকা জুড়ে উৎসবের আমেজ তৈরি হয়। বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে আসা তান্ত্রিকরা তন্ত্রমন্ত্র দিয়ে পাতা রূপী মানুষকে মাঠের মাঝখান থেকে চারদিকে টানার প্রতিযোগিতা করে। প্রতিযোগিতায় যার পয়েন্ট বেশি হয় সেই তান্ত্রিক দলকে বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করা হয়।

এমন খেলা দেখে বিমোহিত ও খুশি দর্শকরা। সবার দাবী, প্রতিবছর আয়োজন হোক এমন খেলার।

এদিকে, আয়োজকরা জানান, মানুষকে আনন্দ দিতেই এমন খেলার আয়োজন করেছেন তারা।

তান্ত্রিকদের মতে, প্রাচীনকাল থেকে গুনীকরা খেলত এই পাতা খেলা। আর এজন্য যে মন্ত্র প্রয়োজন তা অতি কঠিন। আরবী, ফারসি, সাঁওতালদের ভাষায় প্রয়োগ করতে হয় এই মন্ত্র। তাই মন্ত্রের এই খেলা এখনও বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে আয়োজকদের ধন্যবাদ জানান তারা।

তারা বলেন, এই খেলাতে কোনো ভারি অস্ত্র, তাবিজ-কবচ বা ওষুধ ব্যবহার করা যায় না পাতাকে। এটা একটা বান খেলা।

পাতা খেলায় সাতটি তান্ত্রিক দল অংশ নেয়। খেলা শেষে বিজয়ীদের হাতে তুলে দেয়া হয় পুরষ্কার।
