Announcement | National Road Safety Week : e-Rideable Laws

Описание: This week’s National Road Safety Week has presented the ideal time to raise awareness on e-Rideable laws.

For the past 18 months, the Traffic Enforcement Group have been educating the community on e-Rideable laws such as exceeding speed limits on shared paths and footpaths, not wearing a helmet, and riders using illegal devices.

While most people have been doing the right thing, there have still been instances of e-Rideable riders found to be disobeying these laws.
Police have issued 823 infringements and impounded 64 e-Rideables since January 2022.
