Competency-based education remains rare in the community college sector. Yet amid growing demand for skills-based credentials and hiring, some experts think the delivery method is poised for expansion. This panel features two experts who can talk about both the opportunities and barriers for CBE and the state of assessment in the sector. The discussion will also look at examples of community colleges working to help their graduates signal to potential employers what they know and can do, including with sub-degree credentials.
