Описание: After three days of animating and making little tweaks here and there, it’s done… my animation of Niko jamming to my FAVORITE SONG. I REALLY LIKE IT. It’s a very happy sounding song that I thought would fit perfectly with Niko.

Believe it or not, the track playing is the reason I wanted to get into animation in the first place. To make one of my favorite characters vibe out to one of my favorite tracks, heh. And as you can see, I did just that.

K. Now, let me touch on some of the reasons this took so long, and some of that jank I addressed in the comment section.

This took as long as it did because I found the rigging on the Niko model to be VERY frustrating, which made posing a pain and I would get stuck trying to fix like I said, very minor imperfections. Next up. The facial expressions just flat out refused to cooperate with me. I honestly don’t know how I managed to somehow just make it work. And lastly, and biggest reason of all… Lack of experience. You see, I have no idea what I’m doing, lmao. Check out my animation tests. I did something as simple as those and randomly decided “Screw it! I know enough! I’m about to jump in this HUGE project knowing FULLY well I have NOWHERE NEAR the amount of practice I need for this”. So yeahhh… that explains the jank. Especially here - 0:12 and 0:18. The movements are super stiff and weird looking because I was so fresh into making this. It gets a bit smoother after that though since I was easing my way into it and learning tiny stuff as I progressed through the animation. Take 0:24 and forward for example. Doesn’t look half bad, right? Sure, there’s still some janky movements, but not as much as 0:12 and 0:18 in comparison. That’s because I was already getting pretty used to how MMD works by now.
