Hamilton Branch State Park campground has 200 single family (mixed-used) campsites on beautiful J. Strom Thurmond Lake. Most campsites have electric & water hookups, are very large and several have spectacular lake front property. The campsites have a paved parking pad, table, fire ring and grill. The primitive group camping area can accommodate up to 400 people and has also has picnic tables, a fire ring and nearby restrooms.

The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, a camp store and sanitation dump station. There is also a 2 boat ramps to access the lake, a visitors center, playground and sports field.
