• Tempering for a working hardness

This build involved repeated restarts, failed welds, and corrections at every stage. The goal was never speed or perfection. The goal was to finish the blade correctly and honestly.
The seax follows historically informed construction, with localized pattern welding and geometry focused on function over display.
