The Klezmer Fiddle (Michael Levy) - this album, along with my album "Echoes of the Shtetl", are my attempt to recreate the traditional Jewish fiddle, once played throughout the former Shtetls of old Eastern Europe prior to the horrors of the Holocaust (which if it had not been for the few precious recordings made in the USA in the early 20th century by Eastern European Klezmer musicians who emigrated there before the War), would have possibly wiped this beautiful music off the face of the Earth forever.
