Fighting in the Middle East entered its sixth day on Thursday, with the conflict continuing to escalate as military operations expand into neighbouring areas with increasing aggression.
Israel has launched missiles at Tehran and Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Beirut - and Iran claims to have struck a US oil tanker in the Gulf.
In Qatar, air defences have intercepted Iranian missiles over Doha, while in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, air sirens have been heard through Thursday morning.
It comes as the prime minister is set to give an update on the conflict from Downing Street.
Meanwhile Defence Secretary John Healey met his counterpart in Cyprus to ease tensions about Britain’s response to drone attacks on the island.
