In this video, I explore the popular ramblers' route along the Viking Way. The circular hike begins at Normanby Le Wold (the highest settlement in Lincolnshire), then progresses to Walesby (the home of the Ramblers' Church) and finally onto the picturesque village of Tealby (the former home of the Tennyson D'Eyncourt family).

In Tealby, I rest for a superb Sunday roast at the old thatched roof pub, The King's Head. Then, in an attempt to return to the car before the end of daylight, I return on a different trail to Normanby Le Wold as the golden sun set amongst the Lincolnshire countryside.
